ShiftMesh Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account info: email, password (stored hashed), role (business or worker).
• Profile info you add: name, business name and location, town, roles, work history, qualifications and certificate files (e.g., Food Worker Card, MAST).
• Activity: shifts posted/claimed, job applications, messages between users, ratings.
• Payments (businesses): handled by Stripe; we store only Stripe customer IDs and charge records, not full card numbers.
• Device info: push notification tokens and basic app/browser version, used only to deliver alerts.

How we use it

To run the marketplace (matching shifts and workers, messaging, alerts), verify certificates, charge the 6% fee on filled shifts, prevent fraud and abuse, and provide support. We do not sell personal information and do not use it for third-party advertising or tracking.

Sharing

Profile and work-history details are shown to businesses and workers using ShiftMesh as needed to fill shifts. Service providers: Cloudflare (hosting/database), Stripe (payments), Brevo (email), Google Firebase / Apple Push Notification service (app alerts). We may disclose information if required by law.

Retention and deletion

You can delete your account or request deletion by emailing hello@getshiftmesh.com. We keep payment records as required by law.

Children

ShiftMesh is not for anyone under 16.
